Overview

This course incorporates the knowledge and skills required to successfully carry out testing and sampling of hazardous environments using electronic test apparatus. It provides candidates a great understanding of Lower Explosive Levels (LEL) and High Explosive Levels (HEL), oxygen level testing, flammable and toxic contaminant testing, confined space entry, trench entry, work preparation, and process equipment testing.

Who Will Benefit This course is suitable for personnel who may be required to enter and work in confined spaces, enclosed and partially enclosed spaces, hot work, storage tanks, silos, pits, pipes, shafts, ducts, and transport vehicles and ships. It is also recommended for personnel who are responsible for conducting tests and monitoring to issue work permits.

Training Method Training is a combination of theory familiarisation and practical applications.
Course Delivery The gas test atmosphere course is offered at our Clark campus in the Philippines. We also deliver training services on site upon arrangement or provided that there are suitable infrastructure and equipment.
Completion Award

Upon successful completion of this unit, a Statement of Attainment will be issued.
