Overview

This course provides candidates an understanding of the principles of major emergency management. Compliance report may be included to test client’s current emergency plans and procedures, or to validate a newly written emergency response plan. A consultant will be assigned to work one-on-one with the company representative to review the plans and procedures, and decide on a scenario for the development of the simulated exercise.

Who Will Benefit This course is aimed at offshore installation managers (OIM) and potential OIM development programmes.
Prerequisites

There is no prerequisite training to this course, however, knowledge of oil platform operations is required.

Training Method This course incorporates theory and practical sessions that will give the OIM and potential OIM’s an understanding of the principles of major emergency management under realistic conditions.
Course Delivery Major emergency management initial response training is offered at our Clark campus in the Philippines. We also deliver training services on site upon arrangement or provided that there are suitable infrastructure and equipment for training.
Completion Award

Upon successful completion of this course, a Statement of Completion will be issued.
